*💎 With a motive to eliminate the cruel practice of female circumcision, International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is being observed across the world on 6th February every year by WHO

Pagan, uncultured, and cruel practices 

The practice is recognised internationally as a violation of the human rights, the health and the integrity of girls and women. In 2012, the UN General Assembly designated February 6 as the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation, with the aim to amplify efforts on the elimination of this practice. United Nations strives for its full eradication by 2030.

• More than 200 million girls and women alive today have undergone FGM in 30 countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

• The practice has no health benefits for girls and women. It involves removing and damaging healthy and normal female genital tissue, and interferes with the natural functions of girls' and women's bodies. 

• FGM can cause severe bleeding and problems urinating, and later cysts, as well as complications in childbirth and increased risk of newborn deaths

• FGM is mostly carried out on young girls between infancy and age 15.

 * 🌹 Kavi Pradeep * - `` Kavi Pradeep (February 6, 1915 - December 11, 1998) was a famous Indian poet, film songwriter and playback singer.  Pradeep is best known for his patriotic song "Aaye Mere Vatan Ke Logo" written in memory of the soldiers who died in the Indo-China war.  The song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar, the star of India, in the presence of the then Prime Minister Nehru at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on Republic Day 1963.  Nehru's eyes filled with tears when he heard this song that day.  A tape of the song was presented to him on the stage

 * 🌹 MOP  Ayyankar * - `` MOP was an eminent medical researcher in India.  Ayyankar (born 6 February 1895).  Mant disease was a major health problem in Travancore about 80 years ago. He was invited by Maharaja Sri Chithira Thirunal to solve it.  Friends and relatives affectionately referred to him as 'Tinnani'.

 * 🌹 Ronald Reagan * - Ronald Wilson Reagan (February 6, 1911 - June 5, 2004) was the 40th President of the United States of America.

 * 🌹 Ushakha Ghosh * - `` Sangha Ghosh (born February 6, 1932) is a Bengali poet and critic.  In 2016, he received the Jnanpith Award.  He has taught at various colleges including City College, Jadavpur University, Delhi University and Vishwa-Bharathi University.

 * 🌹Sreesanth * - `` Sreesanth (born 6 February 1983) is an Indian cricketer.  He was the first Malayalee to play in the Indian cricket team and the first Malayalee to play in the World Cup Cricket Final.  Sreesanth, also known as Gopu and Sree, is a right-handed fast bowler and right-handed valet batsman.  Sreesanth's biography was published by Mathrubhumi Books under the title 'Sreesanth of Kerala'.  Mathrubhumi Sports Magazine Senior Sub Editor K.  The book written by Viswanath was released on June 5, 2008 in Kochi

 * 🌷 Syamashastri * - `` Syamashastri is one of the trinities of Carnatic music (born 26 April 1762 - died 6 February 1827).  He lived in Thanjavur.  He is believed to have lived in the 18th-19th centuries.  Devotion is the main theme of his works.  His first work was Janani Nathajanaparipalini, which he sang in a very difficult Sharabhanandan tune, which is 79

syllables long.

* 🌷 Emilio Aginaldo * - `` Emilio Aginaldo (March 22, 1869 - February 6, 1964) was a Philippine freedom fighter.  In 1895 he became mayor of Cവിte d'Ivoire. With the blessing of the United States, he formed and led a national government in the Philippines.  He reorganized the army and declared the Philippines a republic.  He worked for Japan against the United States during World War II.  He was convicted after the war but later had his sentence commuted.  He was ordained a member of the Council of State in 1950 for his service to the Kingdom.
