Literature is my mistress".  Pantayam is a Malayalam film based on Anton Chekhov's play The Bet.  Nedumudi Venu will play Anton Chekhov in the film, which started shooting in 2013.  Ottal, directed by Jayaraj, is based on Chekhov's short story 'Wanka'.


 * Urani Maria Vattalil * - `` Blessed Queen Maria Vattalil (Sister Rani Maria) (born 29 January 1954 - died 25 February 1995) is the first woman martyr in the Church of India.  FCC  Sister, a member of the Franciscan nun community, abbreviated as 'Indar-Udaynagar' in Madhya Pradesh, worked to save the poor from oppression and exploitation.


 * 🌹Akira Miyawaki * - `` Akira Miyawaki (born 29 January 1928) is a Japanese botanist and expert in plant ecology, studying seeds and natural forests.  He is active around the world as a specialist in restoring natural vegetation to degraded land.  He has been Professor Emeritus at Yokohama National University since 1993 and Director of the Japanese Center for International Studies in Ecology.  He was awarded the Blue Planet in 2006

 * 🌹Jemine Grier (born 29 January 1939) is an Austrian scholar, author and one of the leading feminist voices of the twentieth century.  Her most-read book, The Female Unique, was published in 1970 and received rave reviews as well as critical acclaim.  Other notable works include The Politics of Human Fertility and Shakespeare's Wife.


 * 🌹Boris Pasternak * - `` Boris Leonidovich Pasternak (January 29, 1890 - May 30, 1960) was a Russian poet and writer.  The book "Doctor Zhivago" made him famous in the West.  The book was first published in 1957, during the reign of Tsarist Russia and the early Soviet Union.  However, he became famous in Russia as a poet.  My sister's life is perhaps the most influential collection of poems written in Russian.


 * 🌹William McKinley * - `` William McKinley (born 29 January 1843 - died 14 September 1901) is the 25th President of the United States.  He was killed six months before the second massacre.  McKinley was the last president to take part in the American Civil War


 * Auroraine Roland * - `` French novelist, playwright and poet who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1915 (born 19 January 1866 - died 29 December 1944).  He was a staunch opponent of the war and was known as a friend of India.  He has authored numerous books, including novels, plays, and biographies.  Gandhiji, Rabindranath Tagore, Vivekananda and Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa have written a book entitled 'Profits of New India'.

 Bharat Gopi  Gopinathan Nair (8 November 1937 - 29 January 2008).  He won the 1978 Bharat Award for Best Actor for his performance in Kodiyettam.  This is why he is also known as Kodiyettam Gopi.  Gopi was also a film director and producer.  His film Yemen won the National Film Award for Best Social Film in 1991.  Gopi's book 'Abhinayam Anubhavam' won the National Award for Best Book on Film.  He has received other local, national and international awards, including the 1991 Padma Shri.
