The undying curiosity of humans to explore the frontiers of universe can be explained by their persistent quest and search for extraterrestrial life. 

The Hubble space  telescope which was anchored in space decades back to discover the life beyond Earth had indeed played a key in having kept the hopes of humanity to achieve a breakthrough in its journey to understand the intricacies and mysteries surrounding the universe alive..

As a replacement of Hubble space telescope, NASA along with European Space Agency and Canadian Space Agency had launched James Webb telescope on Christmas last year. 

No doubt, it is an another astounding feat in humanity's endeavour to unravel the mystery of universe. It took a decade and a whopping 10 billion US dollars to built a ambitious observatory in space.

 Unlike the Hubble space telescope, James Webb is an infrared telescope with tennis court sized sunshield and a gigantic primary mirror that had to be folded for the launch and then unfolded in space.  

James Webb with all its advanced technologies will continue to keep our hope for an extraterrestrial life alive.
