 * 🌹Subhas Chandra Bose * - `` Subhas Chandra Bose (January 23, 1897 - August 18, 1945) was a prominent leader of the Indian independence movement.  He was called Netaji.  He has twice been elected President of the Indian National Congress.  He believed that Gandhiji's methods of struggle were not enough to bring India independence.  He formed a political party called the All India Forward Bloc.  By the end of 1941 he had established a 'Free India Center' in Berlin.  The poem "Janaganamana ..." written by the great poet Tagore was first adopted as the national anthem by the Center for Independent India in Berlin.  In 1991, the Government of India posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna to Bose.  But a complaint was filed in court that this should not have happened in the event that Bose's death had not been confirmed and the government subsequently withdrew the award.  Observers view the incident as a ploy by the government to confirm Bose's death

* Gertrude Elion * - `` Gertrude Belle Elion (born January 23, 1918 - died February 21, 1999) was an American biologist and pharmacologist.  The 1988 Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded to George H.W.  Shared with George H. Hitchings and Sir James Black.  Elion developed a number of new drugs, which led to the development of the AIDS drug AZT (AZT), which was later developed using advanced research methods.  They developed azathioprine, the first immunosuppressive drug used for organ transplants.  Elion has developed the first successful antiviral drug acyclovir (ACV - acyclovir) for the treatment of herpes infections.  Azidothymidine was developed in 1983 by Gertrude Elion and co.  I.  V.  The first effective drug for viral infections.```

* 🌹Aryan Robben * - `` Aryan Robben (born 23 January 1984) is a Dutch footballer.  He plays for the Netherlands national team and for Bayern Munich at the club level.  He played for the Netherlands at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 UEFA European Championships and the 2006, 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.

* 🌹David Hilbert * - `` David Hilbert (23 January 1862, 14 February 1943) was a German mathematician.  He is considered one of the most influential mathematicians of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.  He is also the inventor of the Hilbert Space Theory


* Tai Dzug * - `` Tai Dzung (January 23, 599 - July 10, 649) was a Chinese emperor.  A.D.  His real name was Lishimin, the second emperor of the Tang Dynasty to rule China from 618 to 906. Tai Dzung, who came to power in 626, is considered one of China's emperor.  During his twenty-three years of rule, he succeeded in bringing most of Asia under his control.

* 🌹Bal Thackeray * - `` Balasaheb Keshav Thackeray, popularly known as Bal Thackeray (born 23 January 1926 - 17 November 2012) was an Indian politician and founder and prominent leader of the Hindu political party Shiv Sena.

 * 🌹Meghawati Sukarnoputri * - `` Meghawati Sukarnoputri (born 23 January 1947) was President of Indonesia from 2001 to 2004.  She is the leader of the PDIP, one of the major political parties in Indonesia.  Meghawati is the daughter of Sukarno, Indonesia's first president (1945-1967).  She was vice president of Abdul Rahman Waheed from 1999 to 2001

* 🌷M.  Govindan * - `` M. was a poet, critic, cultural activist and a radical humanist.  Govindan (born 18 September 1919 - died 23 January 1989).  He wrote in Malayalam and English and was the editor of Navasahiti, Gopuram and Samiksha.  Govindan was instrumental in nurturing a handful of writers who later became notable in literature.

* King Abdullah * - `` Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud (born 1 August 1924 - died 23 January 2015) is the King of Saudi Arabia and the custodian of the Holy Shrines.  Became the first Saudi ruler to visit the Pope

* 🌷Edward Munk * - `` Norwegian painter Edward Munk (12 December 1863 - 23 January 1944).  Monk was fascinated by psychological ideas and was fascinated by expressionism, a technique in painting.  His most famous film, The Scream (1893), was hailed as one of the best representations of the emotional conflicts of the modern world.  On May 2, 1912, it sold for $ 119,922,500, making it the highest-selling film in the world.  Madonna is another famous movie

* Augustus Dore * - `` Paul Gustav Dore (January 6, 1832 - January 23, 1883) was a French painter and carpenter.  His first illustrated story was published when he was only fifteen years old.  In the early days, Dore worked as a painter in addition to literary works.  Doha's paintings were inspired by the works of Balzac, Milton, Dante and Hubble.  In 1853, Dore was commissioned to illustrate Byron's works

* 🌷Paul Robson * - `` Paul Leroy Robson (April 9, 1898 - January 23, 1976) was a prominent African-American singer, actor, and activist for the African-American civil rights movement.  A multi-talented man, he was a prolific football player during his university years.  He later became a singer and film and drama actor.  In the meantime, he earned a law degree and worked as a lawyer

* 🌷Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Mickuel * - `` Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Mickuel (24 October 1811, Newhans - 23 January 1871) was a Dutch botanist.  His main contribution was the study of plants in the Dutch East Indies.  Much of his research has been on botanical nomenclature.Miq.  Is the acronym used to refer to him in botanical matters

* Matthias Schindler * - `` Matthias Schindler (10 Feb 1903 - 23 Jan 1939) was an Austrian footballer who was named IIFFHS Schindler's Best Austrian Footballer of the Twentieth Century in 1999.  Only a year earlier, he had been named the Austrian Athlete of the Century.
