* 🌹Sugathakumari * - `` Sugathakumari (born 22 January 1934 - died 23 December 2020) was a Malayalam poet and social activist who was concerned about the problems of Kerala.  She is the founding secretary of the Nature Conservation Committee.  She was the former chairperson of the Kerala State Women's Commission.  She is the founding secretary of Abhaya, an organization that works with a work day care center for poor women and the mentally ill.  Save Silent Valley played a major role in the protest

 * George George Byron * - `` George Gordon Byron or Lord Byron (born 22 January 1788; died 19 April 1824);  Byron's best-known works include the short poems "She walks in beauty", "When we parted ways", and "So we'll go no more a roving", and "The Harold's Pilgrimage" by Don Juan.  "And narrative poems.  It was not completed at the time of Don Juan Byron's death.  Considered one of the foremost poets of the English language, his writings are still read today and retain their influence.

* 🌹Noel Birch * - `` Noel Birch (born 22 January 1932) is an American film critic and theorist who gave a theoretical dimension to classical cinema.  As a teacher, he is best known for his experimental films.  He has authored over a dozen books on film theory

* Roshan Singh * - `` Roshan Singh (January 22, 1892, Shahjahanpur District - 19 December 1927, Allahabad) was an Indian revolutionary.  He was imprisoned in connection with the Bareilly shooting during the Non-Cooperation Movement of 1921-22.  When he was released from Bareilly Central Jail in 1924, he joined the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association.  He was executed by the British government for his alleged involvement in the Kakori conspiracy.

 * Leonard Eugene Dixon * - `` American mathematician Leonard Eugene Dixon was born on January 22, 1874 in Independence, Iowa.  Dixon became the first scientist to describe the finite field.  Dixon served as president of the American Mathematical Society (1917-19, 1932).  He has been a member of the American Philosophical Society, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Academy of the French Institute.  He has been awarded an honorary doctorate by Harvard and Princeton Universities in recognition of his outstanding research (1936, 1941).

* 🌹Soumitra Sen * - `` Soumitra Sen (born 22 January 1958) is a Judge of the Kolkata High Court.  He has served as an Advocate in the Kolkata High Court in a number of cases, both original and appellate in Constitutional and Civil Law.  On December 3, 2003, Soumitra Sen was elected Permanent Judge of the Kolkata High Court.

* 🌷Kodungallur Kunjikuttan Thampuran * - `` Kodungallur Kunjikuttan Thampuran (18 September 1864 - 22 January 1913), better known as Kerala Vyasan, was a spokesman for the original Malayalam movement.  He lived in the Kodungallur Kovilakam in the 19th century.  Also known as the Moment Poet.  His real name was Rama Varma.  Sri Kunjikuttan Thampuran translated the Mahabharata epic into Malayalam literally translated into Malayalam by Vyasamuni in 1095 days.

* Sadananda Swamy * * `` Sadananda Swamy (23 February 1877 - 22 January 1924) was one of the pioneers of the Kerala social renaissance movement.  He established many Brahmanical monasteries and conducted Dharma teachings.  An organization called Chitsabha was formed based in Thiruvananthapuram.  Established many of its branches.  Sadanandapuram Avadhutashram was established in the year 1076 between Thiruvananthapuram and Kottarakkara as its headquarters.  King Sreemoolam Thirunal Rama Varma was the patron saint

 Johann Friedrich Blumenbach * - `` Johann Friedrich Blumenbach (11 May 1752 - 22 January 1840) was a German physiologist, naturalist and anthropologist.  He was one of the first scientists to study man in conjunction with natural history.  He made a comparative study of mankind and divided it into five categories

* Sha Jahan * - `` Shah Jahan was the emperor of the Mughal Empire on the Indian subcontinent from 1628 to 1658 (lifetime: 5 January 1592 - 22 January 1666).  The Persian name Shah Jahan means King of the World.  Shah Jahan was the fifth Mughal emperor after Babur, Humayun, Akbar and Jahangir.  The period of Emperor Shah Jahan is known as the Golden Age of Mughal Architecture.  He is the founder of the Taj Mahal, the Moti Masjid in Agra, the Red Fort in Delhi and the Juma Masjid.  He also founded the city of Shahjahanabad, now known as Old Delhi.  At the age of sixteen he proved his interest in architecture by renovating buildings in Agra Fort.  Shah Jahan is said to have built 777 gardens in Kashmir, his favorite summer resort.  Some of these still attract tourists
