 * Aulala Lajpat Rai * - `` Lala Lajpat Rai (born 28 January 1865 - died 17 November 1928) was an Indian freedom fighter.  He was at the forefront of the political campaign against the British Raj.  People close to him called him Lalaji.  Also known as the Lion of Punjab, he was one of the founding leaders of the Punjab National Bank and the Lakshmi Insurance Company.  Lala Lajpat Rai was a member of the Lal-Pal-Bal trio

 * 🌹K.M.  Kariyappa * - `` Field Marshal KM was the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army.  Kariyappa or Kodandera "Kipper" Madappa Kariyappa (28 January 1899 - 15 May 1993).  He led the Indian Army to the Western front in the 1947 Indo-Pak war.  He served in the Indian Army for three decades

 * 🌷Kalamandalam Geethanandan * - `` Kalamandalam Geethanandan (born November 6, 1959 - died January 28, 2018) was an oatmeal artist from Kerala.  The race has been performed in over 5,000 venues inside and outside the country.  He entered the Malayalam film industry with the film Kamaladalam and has acted in more than 30 films.  He was a teacher in Kerala Kalamandalam for 33 years.  Geethanandan, who has been practicing thullal for forty years, has about a thousand disciples.


 * * Joseph Brodsky * - `` Joseph Brodsky (24 May 1940 - 28 January 1996) was a Russian-American poet and essayist.  In 1987, Brodsky was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.  In 1991, he was named United States Poet Laureate.


 * George Woodcock * - `` George Woodcock (May 8, 1912 - January 28, 1995) was the editor of the Canadian newspaper and one of the foremost modern travelers to Kerala.  He is the editor of the periodical Canadian Literature.  He and his wife visited Kerala in 1962 and 1965.  He published his valuable studies in Kerala, A Portrait of the Malabar Coast.
